The Potomac Heritage Trail has probably been my favorite trail for stamp hunting since I started collecting. There are a number of lists detailing where these stamps can be found throughout Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania, but a number of the stamps have been lost or destroyed making it a great challenge. It was weird to see that a trail traversing two specific regions - the Mid-Atlantic and National Capital - to then be 'assigned' to the National Capital Region in the Passport Sticker collection. Since I'm not one to easily conform, I've decided to include it in the National Trails section instead of the National Capital Region.

A staple of the Northern Neck, this park has the well know "Shark Tooth Beach" where you can play in the Potomac and if you're lucky, find a shark's tooth washed up on the beach. The park was the favorite spot for Kahlan and Avery.
